2024 Junior Major Female Graduating U17 Player Draft – Calgary Cardinals, Silvertips and Okotoks Raiders
Draft Eligible: All Alberta U17 Players born in 2007 from the Fury Lacrosse and on the ALA Graduating U17 Player List.
The Calgary Cardinals, Silvertips Major Female the Okotoks Junior Raiders each draft eight Graduating U17 Players from the Fury Minor Lacrosse Club.
Draft Order:
1. Raiders
2. Silvertips
3. Cardinals
And by the trade transactions where trades included draft picks.

Date: Sunday, February 4, 2024
Time: 4:00 to 7:00 PM
Location: Okotoks Canadian Brewhouse, 200 Southridge Drive #625, Okotoks
All Draft Eligible Players, Parents and Siblings invited.
Draft takes place @ Canadian Brew house which will also be open to the public.
Draft Takes place over Dinner Time, Have Dinner with your Family at the Brewhouse!
Players will be called up to Stage for Media Shots with Coaches/Captains
RSVP with Number of Guests Attending is required to book a table.

Game Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Tuesdays for away games with Sr. Major Female teams.
Regular Season Games: 16
interlock games:
– Red Deer Riot will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with all Junior Major Female and Senior Major Female teams.
– Junior Major Female Saints, Drillers, and Titans will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with the Senior Drillers.
– Junior Major Female Ladies Silvertips, Cardinals, and Raiders will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with the Senior Cougars.
Intra division games: Each Jr. team will play each other twice (1 home and 1 away). The balance of games will be made up of local Junior games (i.e. North vs North).
long weekend and statutory holidays: Regular Season games are not scheduled on the Victoria Day Weekend (May 17, 18, 19 & 20) and Canada Day Weekend (June 29, 30, 31 and July 1).
team points: Standings are calculated using the win, loss, tie record for all 16 games per team.

Dates: Friday, July 19 to Sunday July 21, 2024
Format:
Top 3 teams from Regular Season plus Host. 4 team round robin hosted by the Silvertips. From Round Robin, top 2 teams play for gold and 3rd place and 4th teams play for Bronze. All games played at Max Bell – Ken Bracko, Calgary.
