2026 Junior Major Female Graduating U17 Player Draft – Calgary Cardinals, Silvertips and the Valkyries
Draft Eligible: All Alberta U17 Players born in 2009 from the Fury Lacrosse including those females who played on a coed CDLA U17 team and on the ALA Graduating U17 Player List.
Draft Order:
1. Valkyries
2. Cardinals
3. Silvertips
And by the trade transactions where trades included draft picks.

Location: Hudson’s Pub (all ages venue) – 700 – 16061 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB
All U17 graduating players along with their families and friends are invited to attend.

Game Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Tuesdays for away games with Sr. Major Female teams.
Regular Season Games: 16
interlock games:
– Red Deer Riot will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with all Junior Major Female and Senior Major Female teams.
– Junior Major Female Saints, Drillers, and Titans will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with the Senior Drillers.
– Junior Major Female Ladies Silvertips, Cardinals, and Valkyries will play 2 games (1 home and 1 away) with the Senior Cougars.
Intra Division Games: Each Jr. team will play each other twice (1 home and 1 away). The balance of games will be made up of local Junior games (i.e. North vs North).
Long Weekend and Statutory Holidays: Regular Season games are not scheduled on the Victoria Day Weekend (May 15, 16, 17 & 18) and Canada Day (July 1).
Team Points: Standings are calculated using the win, loss, tie record for all 16 games per team.

Dates: Friday, July 17 to Sunday July 19, 2026
Format:
Top 3 teams from Regular Season plus the Host. 4 team round robin hosted by the Cardinals. From Round Robin, top 2 teams play for gold and 3rd place and 4th teams play for Bronze. All games played at Brentwood Sportsplex – 1520B Northmount Dr. NW, Calgary.
